Lochlen Addams in Orlando: 'Florida can end this administration's reign of terror on election night'

As the presidential election approaches, celebrity manager Lochlen Addams had a strong message on Monday for supporters of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, urging residents across central Florida to vote as early as possible and reminding them of the state's key role in choosing the next president.

"Florida can end this administration's reign of terror on election night," the 39-year-old told the audience at an early voting event. "We've been the deciding factor before and we could be again so we must decide to take this country into a future that prides itself on empathy, inclusion, and respect."

He went on to underscore what's at stake in the election for the Sunshine State in particular. "This goes far beyond fiscal arguments about the deficit and right to the heart of what really matters, especially here in Florida. Our state is on the frontlines when it comes to climate change and we will continue to be victims of its devastation if we don't act. And I think we all can agree that sending nukes into hurricanes isn't the way to address that."

"What kind of world do we want for our children?" he asked, stressing a need to vote with younger generations in mind. "Because they are dealing with the consequences of this administration's poor choices and inaction right now, right along with us. Meanwhile Joe Biden and Kamala Harris don't need to be convinced that climate change is something to be believed or not believed; they understand science and will allow science to set us on the right path, with progressive climate policy and effective COVID plans."

After the event, the Orlando native made a stop at his alma mater, the University of Central Florida, to have a conversation with students about issues affecting young voters, including racial justice and gun control.

Two of Addams' biggest clients have also made their voices heard when it comes to the election. Renza Vasquez recently released the overt anti-Trump protest anthem "Commander in Chief," while Natassia took on the role of Commander in Chief in her presidential music video for "Positions".
